A quickfire follow-up to the recently released set of unreleased braindance damage Rave ‘Till You Cry, this mixtape sees up-and-coming electronic producer 8Ball (Grade10) unleashed on Bodgan’s classic Rephlex catalogue. Taking tracks from 99’s Samurai Math Beats through to 07’s Alright!, he stitches together a seamless hour-long journey through Bogdan’s alien melodies and off-centre rhythms, augmented with liberal does of FX and amen breaks.
8Ball has established a name for himself in recent years through 2 excellent EPs that explore the intersection of ambient, jungle and hardcore. He’s a key member of Leicester’s Grade10 crew whose activities include a label, radio show, the Back To Life parties, and the recently opened Out Of Joint record shop.
The limited edition 62-minute cassette version has full mix playing over two sides, housed in a colour printed j-card cassette box with o-card outer slipcase, designed by Studio Tape Echo, and sleevenotes by Bogdan Raczynski.

"Don't let that impending, foreboding, ticking and tocking frighten you.
Don't jump into that hedonistic viper den that is carpe diem. CTFD.
Focus your energy on finding the cleanest, simplest, and most direct
lane to your true self. Sleuth out that vibrating din which is comprised
not just of the art you enjoy, that's just the first layer. Listen also to the experiences, people, heartbreaks, pleasures, sunshines, snowy days, tangibles, and intangibles that are you. Within that maelstrom, that most personal milieu, lies the promised sound. And when your time is up, that output is all that lingers. How fortunate are you to have a chance to send a message to the future and potentially progress humanity? Seize it!" - Bogdan Raczynski

This album adds more depth to the significant canon of Analogical Force, positioning itself convincingly as a late '10's Warp or Rephlex Records. Pleasant progressive groove based electronics. Egg Wizard

The first and last tunes on this EP are an utter acid tour de force... the middle tunes will suit most RDJ easy listening outrunners, but its great to hear such tight grooves demonstrating the 303 barking as well as it bites. Egg Wizard
